A Gift of Hope: Dlamini Family Donates Land to Empower Future Generations
The Dlamini Family Donates Land to Umsebenzi Wethu Foundation
This March 2025, members of the Umsebenzi Wethu Foundation visited a special site — a piece of land generously donated by the Dlamini family.
The land is located in the serene and beautiful area of KwaMaphumulo, KwaZulu-Natal. This act stands as a symbol of dedication to the community and a step toward building a brighter future.
Leaders of the organization, local elders, and the Dlamini family came together to inspect the site, envisioning how the land will be transformed into a hub for sports development, skills training, and other initiatives that will uplift the community.
Mrs. Dlamini, speaking on behalf of the family, said, “This land has been the heart of our family for many years. We believe that now it can become the heart of the future — an opportunity for others.”
Planned developments include the construction of a sports and community centre and skills development programs. Chief Mdletshe expressed gratitude to the family and the organization, emphasizing the importance of continued collaboration.
Mrs. Snegugu Zuma, Executive Director of the organization, shared the Foundation's vision: “This gift is a powerful reminder that we can achieve great things when we work together. We are deeply honoured to be entrusted with this legacy.”

Abaholi benhlangano, abadala bendawo, kanye nomndeni wakwaDlamini bahambile ndawonye behlola indawo, bethatha umcabango wokuthi le ndawo izoguqulwa ibe yindawo yokuthuthukisa ezemidlalo, ukuthuthuka kanye nokunye okuningi okuzohlomelisa umphakathi.
UNkosikazi Dlamini, ekhuluma egameni lomndeni, wathi: “Le ndawo ibe yinhliziyo yomndeni wethu iminyaka eminingi. Sikholelwa ukuthi manje ingaba yinhliziyo yesikhathi esizayo — ithuba labanye.”
